Seminar Series

The Rutgers Climate Institute co-sponsors seminars throughout the academic year within existing Departmental seminar series, as well as sponsors other events throughout the year. The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology hosts a weekly seminar on Thursdays at 4:00 pm in the Philip Alampi Auditorium of Marine and Coastal Sciences Building on the G.H. Cook Campus. The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences hosts a weekly colloquium on Wednesdays at noon in the Wright-Rieman Chemistry Auditorium on the Busch Campus. The colloquia are open to all.  The Department of Environmental Sciences hosts a weekly seminar on Fridays at 2:30 pm the ENRS Building, Room 223 on the G.H. Cook Campus. Refreshments are served at 2:15 pm. These seminars are open to all faculty, staff, students. Click here for a complete listing of DES Seminars.

 The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory hosts seminars at its Princeton campus. Information can be found on on the GFDL website.


The Climate and Global Dynamics Divison of the National Center for Atmospheric Research's Environmental Sun Systems Laboratory live streams seminars from its Boulder, Colorado office.  The seminar times on the NCAR website are listed in Mountain Time.  Information can be found here.
