The Standing Committee on Advancing Science Communication welcomes you to the 5th Science Communication Colloquium! The need for equitable, effective, and evidence-based science communication has never been more important. This multi-day hybrid event will bring together researchers, communicators, and leaders from communities and the public and private sector to learn from one another and reflect on lessons for science communication from COVID- 19. The conference runs June 1-6, 2022.


The National Weather Service is hosting the 19th Annual Climate Prediction Applications Science Workshop (CPASW) in East Lansing, Michigan from May 24-26, 2022. It will bring together a diverse community to share developments in research and application of weather and climate information for societal decision-making.

The Rutgers Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is hosting an Urban Environments Symposium on May 20, 2022 from 9 AM - 4 PM. This day-long symposium on ensuring healthier and more resilient communities through technological innovation and inclusive partnerships will bring together government, industry, community leaders, and academic thought leaders for a high-level exchange of ideas, presented by Rutgers University's School of Engineering and School of Environmental and Biological Sciences.
