Thursday, 15 April 2021, 3:00
Thursday, April 15, 2021. 3:00 PM. Webinar: Climate Conversations: the Cost of Carbon. Richard Newell, Resources for the Future. Sponsored by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine. More information here.
The social cost of carbon (SCC) is a metric used for incorporating the economic impacts of carbon emissions into federal decision-making. Join us for a conversation with Richard Newell (Resources for the Future) about SCC, its importance for addressing the climate change challenge, and considerations for how SCC can advance just and economically sound policies. A second conversationalist with expertise in environmental justice and a moderator will be announced soon. The conversation will also touch on the social cost of other greenhouse gases.
