Wednesday, March 10, 2021. 2:00 PM. Webinar: Building Community Resilience Hubs: A Conversation with the Asian Pacific Environmental Network and RYSE Center. Amee Raval and Shina Robinson, Asian Pacific Environmental Network; Dan Reilly, RYSE Center. Sponsored by Clean Energy Group. More information here.

This webinar will discuss Asian Pacific Environmental Network's (APEN) recently released report, " Resilience Before Disaster" (http://apen4ej.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Resilience-Before-Disaster-FINAL-UPDATED.pdf). The report, which was written in partnership with SEUI and the BlueGreen Alliance, advocates for investing in neighborhood-based social infrastructure as part of advancing climate adaptation and resilience. It highlights two community-driven policy models that can be scaled at the state-level: (1) community resilience hubs and (2) in-home resilience. APEN will focus on their experience defining and developing community resilience hubs. The discussion will include a case study - the RYSE Youth Center in Richmond, CA - and their efforts transforming the Center into a resilience hub. This webinar is hosted by Clean Energy Group's Resilient Power Project.
