Hurricane Harvey dumped thirteen trillion gallons of rain on southeast Texas in August of 2017. We know what it did on land, but how did this impact the coral reefs off Texas' coast, in Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary? What can we expect from extreme storms in the future? Dr. Adrienne Correa, Assistant Professor of BioSciences at Rice University, will share ongoing research connecting the Gulf Coast, extreme weather, and reef ecosystems.
