Groups have been working with Bill Zeedyk since 2012 in western Colorado to improve habitat for Gunnison sage-grouse and other species that rely on wet meadow sites. This work is designed to make habitat more resilient to climate change.

We will discuss:

• Planning and permitting;
• Implementing the work and monitoring;
• Comparing work done over four different areas with varying precipitation, elevation, and
  habitat;
• How the work has influenced plants, insects and hydrology, and
• Building restoration capacity.
