McLeman’s research focuses on the human impacts of environmental change with particular attention to the effects of climate on migration and displacement. He is currently a coordinating lead author for the next United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) assessment report on vulnerability, impacts and adaptation.
