Princeton researchers will gather with Brazilian scientists, policymakers, environmental leaders, business innovators and social entrepreneurs for the international conference “Amazonian Leapfrogging: Long-term Vision for Safeguarding the Amazon for Brazil and the Planet”. The conference represents the start of a long-term collaboration between Princeton experts and Brazilian stakeholders who have been working closely together to identify lessons from Brazil’s recent large-scale innovations in energy, economics, health policy, indigenous rights and conservation that can become the basis for preserving the Amazon for Brazil and the world.
