Monday, March 18, 2019. 1:00PM Eastern. Webinar: Community Capacity for Climate Action: Lessons from the Greenovate Boston Leaders Program. Cara Pike, Climate Access and Lauren Zingarelli, City of Boston. Sponsored by Climate Access. More here.

Hear how the Greenovate Boston Leaders Program is involving thousands of community members in climate resilience planning and programs across the Boston neighborhoods most at risk from climate impacts.

Local governments play a critical role in preparing communities for climate impacts, increasing resilience, and cutting carbon. To achieve these goals, the public must be on board both in terms of helping to inform and support climate plans and policy decisions as well as taking steps in their own lives.

Hear from Cara Pike (Climate Access) and the Lauren Zingarelli (City of Boston) who worked together to develop the Greenovate Boston Leaders Program about the keys to success and how they can be applied to generate community leadership and capacity for climate action in other communities.
