Rutgers University is commemorating this year’s United Nations Day (October 24, 2018) by staging an interactive program that helps establish linkages between sustainability projects on our campuses and within our communities in alignment with the UN’s Global Goals. Speakers will present how students can get involved in New Brunswick, Newark, and Camden by participating in sustainability efforts.
Student organizations and leaders will have the opportunity to share information about their own projects and participate in breakout discussions on energy, food waste/food security, plastics, and a “wild card” category. Dinner will be provided.
