NOAA's Continually Updated Shoreline Product (CUSP) provides the most current tidal-datum referenced shoreline representation of the United States and its territories using NOAA and non-NOAA contemporary sources to update our nation's dynamic shorelines. Shoreline data supports coastal mapping applications and assists decision makers in developing coastal community plans, managing resources, mitigating hazard events, determining sustainable strategies to coastal infrastructures, and conducting environmental analyses to meet the nation's economic, social, and environmental needs.
