Abstract: These drought and climate outlook webinars are designed to provide stakeholders and other interested parties in the region with timely information on current drought status and associated impacts in California and Nevada (including fisheries), as well as a preview of current and developing climatic events (i.e. El Niño and La Niña). Additional presentations include an update on the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation’s Sub-Seasonal Climate Forecast Rodeo. The webinar is one of the activities of NIDIS's California-Nevada Drought Early Warning Information System. Contributors include the California-Nevada Climate Applications Program, a NOAA RISA Program, the Western Regional Climate Center (WRCC)/Desert Research Institute (DRI), Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO), U.S. Bureau of Reclamation’s Sub-Seasonal Climate Forecast Rodeo, and NOAA’s Southwest Fisheries Science Center (SWFSC).
