Green infrastructure uses vegetation, soils, and natural processes to manage water and create healthier environments by reducing flooding, stormwater pollution, and combined sewer discharges. This workshop will discuss innovative green infrastructure projects across the state and the establishment of Municipal Action Teams to champion and implement such projects and engage communities. Case studies in Newark, Paterson, and Perth Amboy will be discussed.
