This seminar will discuss the findings of the USGCRP’s scientific assessment on the impacts of climate change on human health in the United States. This report was developed over the course of three years by over 100 experts from across 8 federal agencies, and represents a significant improvement in scientific confidence in the link between climate change and a broad range of threats to public health. The goals of the seminar series include providing background on the development of the report, highlighting the overarching messages from the report, and describing some of the key findings across each of the chapters in more detail. In addition, presenters will provide a brief description of publicly accessible materials and where they can be found.
