In April 2023, Wei San Loh, a Ph.D. candidate in the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, attended the annual Research Day organized by the Bloustein School. This Research Day brings together faculty members, students, and policy researchers from Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy to present their research either through poster or lightning presentations. Wei San presented a subsection of her dissertation research “Who are the Used EV Owners and What are Their Concerns and Experience with Used EV?” Her research examines the used electric vehicle (EV) market by first understanding the owners of used EVs. Understanding their experiences and concerns about used EVs would help to improve EV adoption among lower-income households given used EVs offer lower price points. Wei San noted, “Attending the Research Day has been beneficial in helping me grow intellectually and professionally through the connections and insights gained. I deeply appreciate the Rutgers Climate Institute’s financial support that enabled my participation in this Research Day.”
