Classroom Activities
- Climate Change Backpacks
The New England Science Center Collaborative has developed a teaching tool called the Climate Change Backpack. The curriculum materials and activities fit into a rugged, water-resistant, Timberland Company daypack for use in classrooms and in the field. The lessons are designed to expand Climate Change Backpackor contract according to the audience and available teaching time.

UCAR has developed four units on climate change, each of which contains material for several lessons.
- Smithsonian Resources on Arctic Change
These activities explore changes in the Arctic's climate that are being observed by both polar scientists and polar residents--changes that impact the Arctic's environment, its wildlife, and its peoples. The activities also explore how the Arctic's climate connects to our global climate system.

A collection of activities on climate change from various sources.
- Global Warming Materials from the Union of Concerned Scientists
All of these materials are based on published, peer-reviewed science, and have themselves been peer-reviewed by scientific experts in the relevant fields.
