Erika DaniErika Dani is a master's candidate in the City and Regional Planning program at the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, where she studies planning, housing, real estate, and historic preservation. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Global Studies from the University of Minnesota, where her focus was human migration within and out of the Horn of Africa. She also has a bachelor's degree in German from the University of Minnesota.
Erika enjoys hiking, biking, tea, reading, traveling, and pet rescue. She is excited to be a part of the Rutgers Climate Institute team over the summer and for the 2014-2015 school year. She will also serve as a Fellow at the Eagleton Institute of Politics during this time.
Rahul D. Ghosal is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, majoring in Environmental Science with a double minor in Japanese and Philosophy. As a member of the National Society for Leadership and Success and the Vice-President of the Rutgers Japanese Conversation Club, he seeks to implement his leadership skills in addressing global climate change in the future. Currently, he interns as a George H. Cook Scholar at the Rutgers Climate Institute, researching climate justice as it pertains to the Caribbean region.
Jared Sussman is a Master's in Public Policy candidate at the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. He is interested in the intersection of science and policy. He attained a Bachelor's of Arts from Rutgers University, double-majoring in Cell Biology/Neuroscience and Classical Humanities.
Growing up on the Jersey Shore, Jared loves all things water. In his spare time he kayaks, canoes, fishes, and crabs. He also loves hiking, camping, and the outdoors.
